HP today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire LeftHand Networks Inc., a leading provider of storage virtualization and iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions.
LeftHand Networks’ solutions enable midsize companies and remote offices or branches of large corporations to easily and cost-effectively protect critical business data. HP has agreed to purchase LeftHand Networks for $360 million in cash, subject to certain purchase price adjustments. Founded in 1999, LeftHand Networks is privately held and headquartered in Boulder, Colo. It has 215 employees and more than 500 resellers and distributors worldwide. The company has more than 11,000 installations across 3,000 different customers.

The product line includes SpammerTrap® customer-premise appliances ranging from SMB and SME models for smaller businesses to ENT and GEM models for enterprises and global organizations. VIYU Network Solutions Achieves Select Certification from Cisco USA
Viyu Network Solutions announced it has achieved Select Certification from Cisco®. The Select Certification recognizes Cisco resale channel partners whose primary focus is on the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market with fewer than 250 employees.
“The Cisco Select Certification was created in response to customer demand for channel partners to be capable of designing and implementing SMB-specific Cisco solutions," said Surinder Brar, Senior Director of worldwide channels at Cisco. “With the Select Certification, VNS has made an investment in obtaining the training, skills and knowledge necessary to play a pivotal role in meeting this increasing demand.”
To earn Select Certification, Viyu Network Solutions fulfilled the training and exam requirements for the SMB Specialization. VNS also met the personnel, training, and post-sales support requirements set forth by Cisco.

Our new location
We’ve moved! Our new larger location at 1263 N. Plano Road in Richardson has given us nearly double the space from our previous home. We’re very excited about the new digs and we invite all to drop by and see us!
